Inova Health System CTIS is working on the Inova Intelligence Informatics Engine (i3E) project, helping to optimize communications and increase interoperability among the various departments that serve patients. CTIS is also establishing a clinical data repository that will be available to all members of the hospital and clinical staff, thus eliminating hundreds of duplicate records and redundant expenses.

Moffitt Cancer Center CTIS collaborated with Moffitt Cancer Center to implement and test the mobile and wireless technology software Safety Profiler, which is an adverse event management tool developed to improve the accuracy and efficiency of clinical trials staff.

Washington Hospital Center (WHC), MedStar Health CTIS developed registries as well as web-based portals for Washington Hospital Center, which facilitates connectivity, communication, and information-sharing processes, in order to reduce information and decision-making fragmentation. CTIS also developed the Institutional Review Board (IRB) document management system for MedStar’s Georgetown Lombardi Cancer Institute and Washington Cancer Institute (WCI), providing expedited IRB approval to conduct clinical trials.
